  • Available Monday – Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Register for MODE at a mandatory MODE orientation session

  • Because riders only help cover the cost of the drive, rides will never exceed $0.54 a mile

  • Locate and unlock an available scooter using your smartphone
  • They're dockless! When you're done, just park them in a designated drop zone, bike rack, in the "furniture zone" or the section of the sidewalk between the curb and the pedestrian through zone where street furniture, lighting, benches, utility poles, tree pits and bicycle racks live
  • Plan your trip using Google Maps
  • Familiarize yourself with local laws and safety tips before riding:
    • Only one person per scooter
    • No riding allowed on sidewalks, the Third Street Promenade, the Beach Path or in parks
    • Ride in the street and use a bike lane if there is one
